Privacy and Your Data

Outsource Data Recovery takes your data security seriously. All data we are given access to is subject to a nondisclosure agreement, which means that nothing will be duplicated, saved, or shared beyond the scope of work of data recovery and extraction as spelled out in your service agreement. Furthermore, Outsource does not sell or disclose any information to outside parties, including your personal information, billing information, or any files or metadata that we will be working with during the service process.

During the recovery and extraction process, Outsource maintains high data privacy standards compatible with SOC 2 and HIPAA guidelines. Our service technicians are blocked from seeing the contents of any of your data without both your permission (which may be requested, if necessary) and administrative approval. We may offer the option to download your extracted data, which will be housed on our proprietary server, available only to you, and protected from unauthorized access.

If you have any questions about our data security protocols, do not hesitate to contact your service representative.

Website Visitors and Cookies

Outsource Data Recovery (“Outsource”) may employ technologies such as anonymous third-party cookies to better understand visitor activity, such as pages visited, source of visits, and time and duration of visits, in order to tailor both user experience and online advertising based on this activity. If you do not wish to receive such tailored advertising, you can visit this site to opt out of participating companies’ targeted advertising. (This will not prevent you from seeing ads; the ads will simply not be delivered through these targeting methods.)

Customer Information Privacy

Customer identification and billing information provided in requesting services are used only for fulfilling these services and are never otherwise shared by Outsource with any third parties, with the following exception:

If an end client is referred by an Outsource Partner or affiliate, said Partner will be able to see pertinent information, such as the customer’s name, quoted service fee, and project progress so that the Partner has records of his/her referrals. Outsource will not share any other personal information with the referring Partner: for example, the end client’s billing information or files recovered.
