Flat Recovery Rates
Pricing is based upon the total capacity of the drive not the amount of data.
Any and all hard drives with a broken warranty seal will be charge this $99 fee. When a cover has been removed from a hard drive and the platters have been exposed to the air outside of a certified cleanroom environment, they will end up with dust particles on them which increases the risk of physical damage by 10x.
Is required for any device sent inside of an enclosure. e.g. External hard drives, Laptops, Desktop Towers, All-in-one Systems, etc… Enclosures will not be reassembled upon return of the media.
Standard encryptions consist of “single step” type encryptions normally available through your computers operating system for free. e.g. BitLocker, FileVault, etc…
Enterprise Encryptions consist of encryptions requiring a recovery disc or multiple steps to decrypt the data. e.g. Checkpoint FDE, Symantec, DESlock, etc…
Time Machine backups increase the time in which a recovery project will take by a minimum of one week (5 business days).
This consists of Legacy devices (15+ years old), nonstandard operating systems such as EXT, VMFS, UFS, etc… and nonstandard interfaces e.g. SAS, SCSI, FC, IDE, etc…
If the media is found to be repairable, we will notify you that repair is possible and you can choose to approve the repair only, at which time we will refund the remaining balance of the recovery price, less the cost of shipping. This fee is non-refundable
Donor parts may be needed in projects with mechanical failures. In such cases you will be notified of the cost for approval, if declined there will be a $50 cancelation fee and the media will be returned to you. Alternatively, you may choose to provide your own donor parts. All client provided donor media must be thoroughly tested to determine compatibility and there will be a $50 nonrefundable fee per donor for this.
Transfer media can be purchased from us upon completion of recovery, or provided by you. If provided, the drive must be brand new in the box and be of adequate size to fit the data recovered.
If repair service is selected $60 will automatically be added to the total cost of service. If the media is found to be repairable, we will notify you that repair is possible and you can choose to approve the repair only, at which time we will refund the remaining balance of the recovery price, less the cost of shipping.
If emergency services are selected, the turnaround time starts upon receipt of the media to our lab. If the media is found to be unrecoverable, the expedited or emergency surcharge will not be refunded, however the remaining balance will be. For Example: a 500GB drive is received for Expedited service, the total paid upon submission will be $599 and if found to be unrecoverable, the refundable balance will be $299.
If the drive is found to be unrecoverable the full amount less shipping fees will be refunded.
